Who We Are

Under the auspices of Capital Christian Center/His House Ministries, Armenian Language Arts Center opened its doors in 2017, with the goal of educating children of Armenian descent about their history, language, and culture. Armenian Language Arts center has developed an educational program that is tailored to developing the students ability to speak, write and read in Armenian, and appreciate their national identity, community and heritage.

OBJECTIVE

Armenian Language Arts Center will expand to a five-day school in conjunction with Saturday classes. Our academic program will encompass a preschool class, a transitional-kindergarten class, daycare, and several after school activities including chess, embroidery, Russian classes, and adult Armenian classes. Our goal is to provide a curriculum that will meet the student’s intellectual, social, physical, and spiritual needs.

VISION

To develop a bilingual curriculum that will encourage a student’s love for learning and expanding their cultural horizons by introducing a five-day Preschool, Transitional Kindergarten, Day Care services and various after school activities.

MISSION

Armenian Language Arts Center is dedicated to providing a stimulating educational environment for students to achieve absolute academic and personal success.

Take The Next Step
Sponsor Us

Our goal is to implement an educational environment and academic plan that will encourage optimum student growth. In the Diaspora, Armenians, especially second and third generation children struggle to preserve their language, history, cultural values and traditions. We want to introduce the first bilingual school for the Armenian community residing in Sacramento. Our goal is to supports students in developing an appreciation for learning and integrate their knowledge of both Armenian and American cultures in their everyday life. The school’s curriculum will cater to the student’s spiritual, intellectual, and social needs.

Furthermore, we want to be mindful of the needs of all students. We will have financial aid services available for families who will enroll multiple children or qualify for financial assistance. In addition to academic classes, we will have a variety of extracurricular activities including chess, embroidery, adult Armenian classes and Russian language classes.

SERVING OUR COMMUNITY

Sponsoring our school means you and your child will have a school you can call home, a place where they will acquire the skills needed to become functioning members in their society and cherish their unique cultural values. Accomplishing this great feat will require support and sponsorship from our community. Your contribution will aid in the preservation of the Armenian language, culture, faith, heritage and history.
