Who We Are

Under the auspices of Destiny Christian Church/His House Ministries, the Armenian Language Arts Center opened its doors in 2017. Its goal is to educate children of Armenian descent about their history, language, and culture. The center has developed an educational program tailored to helping students develop their ability to speak, write, and read in Armenian and appreciate their national identity, community, and heritage.

OBJECTIVE

Armenian Language Arts Center will expand to a five-day school with Saturday classes. Our academic program will encompass preschool, transitional kindergarten, daycare, and several after-school activities, including chess, embroidery, Russian, and adult Armenian classes. We aim to provide a curriculum that will meet the student’s intellectual, social, physical, and spiritual needs.

VISION

To develop a bilingual curriculum that will encourage a student’s love for learning and expand their cultural horizons by introducing a five-day Preschool, Transitional Kindergarten, daycare services, and various after-school activities.

MISSION

Armenian Language Arts Center is dedicated to providing a stimulating educational environment that will enable students to achieve absolute academic and personal success.

Take The Next Step
Sponsor Us

Our goal is to implement an educational environment and academic plan that will encourage optimum student growth. Armenians, especially second and third-generation children, struggle to preserve their language, history, cultural values, and traditions in the Diaspora. We want to introduce the first bilingual school for the Armenian community residing in Sacramento. Our goal is to support students in developing an appreciation for learning and integrating their knowledge of Armenian and American cultures into their everyday lives. The school’s curriculum will cater to the student’s spiritual, intellectual, and social needs.

Furthermore, we want to be mindful of the needs of all students. We will have financial aid services available for families who enroll multiple children or qualify for financial assistance. In addition to academic classes, we will offer a variety of extracurricular activities, including chess, embroidery, adult Armenian classes, and Russian language classes.

SERVING OUR COMMUNITY

Sponsoring our school means you and your child will have a school you can call home, a place where they will acquire the skills needed to become functioning members of their society and cherish their unique cultural values. Accomplishing this great feat will require support and sponsorship from our community. Your contribution will aid in the preservation of the Armenian language, culture, faith, heritage, and history.
